Congratulations to the CMM Cross Country Team for a record breaking season. CMM fielded its largest team in history with 52 runners qualifying for the team and competing throughout the year. We finished the season strong, bringing home 2 first place team trophies from the Ruston Bearcat Invitational on Oct. 29, 2011. The 7th & 8th girls contributing to the win were Lauren Killibrew, Lucia Boyd, Elizabeth Turnage Alex Prymek, Emily Thomas and Samantha Hilburn. Samantha Hilburn finished 1st overall and set the new course record. The 6th grade boys team also won a 1st place trophy led by Tyler Fuller, Adam Nesbett, Logan Ellinwood, Landry Reeks, Carson Basinger, Blaine Hardy, Grayson Logan, Brandon Fuller, Andrew Galiano and Hank Turnage. Congratulations also goes out to Kyle Kaltenbach who was a top ten finisher in the 7-8th grade boys division and Geoffrey Vickers and Allison Howell who turned in solid performances on a difficult course. Keep up the hard work and see you next season.
