We currently have four barrels full of lost items in the laundry room by the gym. This includes PE uniforms, coats, jackets, sweatshirts, lunch boxes, water bottles, etc. If your child has lost any items like this, please have them check the laundry room next week. After Spring Break any unclaimed items will be donated to Goodwill.

We have two foreign associate teachers (CODOFIL) on our campus. This is a program through the Louisiana Department of Education that enables us to offer more foreign language classes. Each year in July these teachers come to the United States. This July Caddo Parish has 7 or 8 new teachers coming. The parish is looking for host families for these teachers. Being a host means having a teacher from Spain, Mexico, Belgium, or France stay about a week with you. During this time they would need to find an apartment, car, bank account, etc. The main concern is a place for them to stay. Other teachers can help drive them around to get what they need. If you are interested in becoming a host family, please call the office and ask for Mrs. DeBusk.
8th Grade Students:
Please submit a photo of your 7th grade year here at CMM to the 8th Grade Google Classroom page. Make sure to submit it to the 7th Grade Photo Assignment. It can be of just you or you and a group of friends. The deadline to submit this photo is March 18th.
We have set up an 8th Grade Google Classroom page. This page will have very important information for the remainder of the school year. The code is v88ruz. Please make sure your 8th grader joins this page and checks it often. This not a discussion page--the only posts on this page will come from the page administrators.
Instructional time is very important to us at CMM. To ensure that classes are not interrupted, we do not call students to pick up lunches, notebooks, gym uniforms, supplies, projects, etc. The students must check between classes to see if a parent has dropped something off. We have made all of our students aware of this policy, and it is printed in our handbook at the front of the student planner. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact me--not our secretaries. : )
