Announcements:
URGENT NEED!!!! As you are all aware, Puerto Rico has
sustained extremely heavy damage from Hurricane Maria.
Please see the attachment for ways you can help.

We have students at CMM whose families have been affected by the devastation of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.  There are two links below with information about how to help.

CABOSA Middle School Soccer League:  If your child is interested in playing soccer, please see the attached flyer for more information.

Please download SchoolWay (a free app) to your phone. Use the code nmusq8 to join CMM. This app will be used to send push notifications to your phone. Ask your teachers if they are using SchoolWay so you can follow their feed!

Instructional time is very important to us at CMM. To ensure that classes are not interrupted, we do not call students to pick up lunches, notebooks, gym uniforms, supplies, projects, etc.  The students must check between classes to see if a parent has dropped something off.  We have made all of our students aware of this policy for the last six weeks, and it is printed in our handbook at the front of the student planner.   If you have any questions about this policy, please contact me--not our secretaries.

It is BOO Bag Time!!!  All profits from the Boo Bag sales will be spent on P.E. equipment for your child to enjoy this school year.
We are asking for parent volunteers to either donate candy or donate their time.  We are in need of parents to help assemble the bags and to deliver the bags to the students.  If you can not donate your time we understand.  Donating bags of candy would be greatly appreciated.  If you can do both, that would be fantastic!!!

We began collecting candy Monday, September 25th.   Individually wrapped hard candy and chocolate are appropriate, but please no gum or any peanut product. Two large bags of candy or four small bags of candy equal one dress pass. Also a dress pass will also be given if a parent or guardian donates their time. We will distribute the bags on Tuesday, October 31st.

The CMM PE Department is selling long sleeve t-shirts and sweatshirts.  Order forms are available from any PE teacher or in the front office.  The deadline for ordering is October
13th.

Do you have a photo you think would be great for the yearbook? Please join the Google Classroom for Yearbook Photos with the code 167r7z to upload your photos. Please be sure to say who is in the photo, what event is taking place, & the date of the event. Thanks so much for helping our staff create the best yearbook ever!

Pegasus Society--we have begun accepting donations for our Pegasus Society,  This organization purchases the majority of the technology in our school.  More information is being distributed at our Back to School Nights.  One of the perks for a $1,000.00 donation or more is the reserved parking spaces in our main lot.  These spaces are only for current year donations.  Please do not park in those spaces if you have not donated this year.
